Removing the "bubble" in Drupal's Zero Point theme

How it's done

I'm working on a new theme for the website, which gives a little more backend flexibility. It's going to be based on the Zero Point theme, but before I roll it out, I need to remove the "bubble" on te bottom of the page. Since there's no clear insturctions on how to do it, and since people appear to be searching for it, I'd like to explain how.

The "Shorten URLs" feature

The social component of LaboratoryMike

We are all about getting to word out about Open Science and Open Education, and one of the tools we use to do it are social media plugins. These buttons give you the ability to spread your work around the Internet via a few of the major social networks, and for Twitter in particular, being able to shorten a URL is useful. It's also nice when you want to insert a super-long URL into a post on this site.

Drupal: dealing with "Undefined index: access in _menu_translate()" errors

A headache shared by Drupal developers

While working behind the scenes, getting the basic functionality on this site up and running, I've found that upon installing a few modules that I suddenly would get these errors:

Notice: Undefined index: access in _menu_translate() (line 778 of /path/to/server/includes/menu.inc).
